We believe that not only does good training increase a driver’s own worth, but it enhances the value of a company’s workforce bringing both commercial and community benefits by reducing running costs and downtime due to poor performance, accidents and other procedural problems.
We are committed to delivering high quality specialist training that delivers a measurable benefit to logistics companies within well organised and supported training programmes. Being a family run business we are small enough to be able to be very flexible and reactive to our customers specific business needs and tailor our provision to make it bespoke to their requirements.
All of our training vehicles are purchased brand new and ordered exactly to training specifications. This means our candidates get the best learning experience possible in a reliable, modern vehicle which will be similar to the type of vehicle that they will be driving at work after they've passed their test.
Our purpose built training centre in Wiltshire has 6 classrooms, warehousing used for lift truck training and an onsite manoeuvring area which is set out exactly to the DVSA test centre standards ensuring learners receive the highest quality and most realistic conditions to train in.
We have just opened our new training centre in Bristol, based less than 5 miles from the Test centre it gives us a perfect base to complete LGV training and tests for people in the Bristol area!
We pride ourselves on being able to offer training to help with any requirement you have, no matter how big or small. We currently offer over 65 courses for the logistics sector which are updated, improved and developed continuously to keep them appropriate, engaging and relevant.
My first dealings with Wttl came in March 2018. From day 1 of the apprenticeship I was impressed with how organised and knowledgeable they were in what they were doing. The apprenticeship was very well set up and the information provided on day 1 was very well structured. In June 2018 we arrived in Devizes to do our C class training. The facilities were spot on and the standard of the training was brilliant. The trainers were calm and very knowledgeable and made me and the other trainees feel very relaxed. In October I became the National Academy Manager and got the opportunity to work with Wttl on a more professional level. They have been more helpful and accommodating than I could ever have hoped. They offer a massively wide variety of courses and training and if you need something additional, they will tailor make a training course to suit your needs. Anything I have requested they have a solution for, at a very reasonable price and are always on hand to help. I know if I have an issue at 9pm on a Friday I can ring Jordan and get some assistance. There is a very good reason that we choose to deal with Wttl who are a company that are based 130 miles away from us in Leicester.

LGV drivers are in short supply nationally and at SIG we struggle to find and retain good people. With Wttl’s help, we have been able to utilise our apprenticeship levy and upskill our existing workforce to provide a pipeline of high quality drivers. The training we have received has been exceptional. Their commitment to upskilling our people goes above and beyond expectations, and exceeds the requirements laid down by apprenticeship standards and the Government. From our first contact with Wttl we felt we were in the hands of a provider who understood our challenges and goals and we consider them to be a valued training partner who we were lucky to find.
