The last weekend in August saw the Wttl convoys, from Bristol and Devizes, head for the Bath and West showground for our local Truckfest.
With 5 rigids and 9 tractor units to prepare as their courses came to an end, the jet washes on both sites were flat out from Thursday evening until last thing Friday afternoon to ensure our stand showed off the fleet in its best light.
The weekend was a great success with a good mix of cleaning, team building and chatting to customers old and new.
On the competition side, after good results at Donnington and Truckfest South East we were hopeful that the new rigids PA55 WAA, PA55 BRH and PA55 RBL would impress the judges and that proved to be the case, as, well beyond our expectations, we collected a 2nd place in Best Fleet and a 1st in Best Rigid for PA55 WAA. The rest of our trucks that were judged all collected Highly Commended certificates. The whole team did a brilliant job.
