Drivers who wish to know a bit more about the O Licence requirements and how their actions as a driver can have an effect on the company’s O licence and OCRS score.

People who are required to complete the course at the direction of a Traffic Commissioner.

• The principles of the Operator Licence system – types, vehicles subject to, criteria, process for applying and changes to the licence.
• Planned system of preventative maintenance – what it is, how it works and the drivers’ role in ensuring compliance.
• Drivers hours and records – retention and analysis, production and management of infringement reports.
• Driver licensing – how to check a licence, categories, minimum ages, health standards, renewals, Driver CPC, foreign drivers working in the UK.
• Fleet inspections and enforcement, OCRS.
• The workplace and work equipment – understanding the general Health & Safety aspects of buildings and premises, the importance of good housekeeping.
