Following the purchase of two DAF CFs last year PA55 RBL and PA55 NHS, the themes and thank you messages continued on this years pair of Volvo FEs.
Supplied by the team at Truck and Bus Wales and West, with bodies and third seat modifications by Spectra in Westbury, the pair are a striking combination that have already earned trophies on the truck show circuit since arriving in July/August.
PA55 BRH is a personal theme for a few of us here with children who have experienced first hand the excellent care provided by Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. PA55 BRH carries a thank you message from us to them.
PA55 WAA is a theme chosen due to the amount of drivers who owe their lives to the quick response provided by the local team manning the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Along with the thank you message, we have made the decision that any prize money won by this truck at truck shows will be donated to the charity and thanks to the teams work at Truck Fest South West this year, there is already £200 on the way to them.
When we made the charity aware of the project they were keen to see the finished truck, inviting us down to their headquarters in Semington to meet the team and take part in a photo shoot.
