NVQ Assessor's Award (Learning & Development Unit A1)
Duration: Approx 12 months.
Entry Requirements:
Any person involved in assessing candidates against agreed standards of competence using a range of assessment methods
Objectives:
To gain a National Vocational Qualification applying to the assessment of candidates using a range of assessment methods. NVQs are a measure of competence and skills level. They are delivered and assessed in the work place.

To Include:
- Developing plans for assessing competence with candidates
- Judging evidence against agreed standards to make assessment decisions
- Giving candidates feedback and support on your assessment decisions
- Contributing to the internal quality assurance process
