NVQ Level 2 & 3 Traffic Office
Duration: Approx 6 months.
Entry Requirements:
Any qualified person in work roles where they manage and supervise all aspects of warehousing and logistics operations.
Objectives:
To gain a National Vocational Qualification applying to the management and supervision of logistics operations. NVQs are a measure of competence and skills level. They are delivered and assessed in the work place.
Content:
The candidate is required to complete the mandatory units:
- L2 - Contribute to effective working relationships
- L2 - Contribute to the provision of customer services
- L2 - Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety
- L2 - Plan, organise and improve your work
- L2&3 - Investigate the suitability of collection or delivery points for loading and unloading
- L2&3 - Routing and scheduling of loads
- L2&3 - Allocate the resources for the transportation of loads
- L3 - Improve the customer relationship
- L3 - Manage yourself
- L3 - Create effective working relationships
- L3 - Manage the movement of loads
Additional units available:
- L2&3 - International road transport operations
- L3 - Contribute to the selection of personnel for activities
- L3 - Contribute to the development of teams and individuals
- L3 - Lead the work of teams and individuals to achieve their objectives
