United Truckers Childrens Convoy

 The first weekend of June is always one we look forward to, as it's convoy time. After collecting our passengers from local childrens charities in Bridgwater it's all lights and airhorns until we reach Crealey Park in Exeter. An additional treat this year as we were invited to lead the way.

Evesham Truck Show

 April saw the start of the truck show season and GoT and the new addition to the J.Godfrey fleet formed the centrepiece of out trade stand.    On the Sunday both trucks recieved best of make trophies, and we're proud to have contributed to over £4000.00 raised for local charty Olivia's Dream.

 A bit of a hectic day at the centre, trying to run a full schedule of training whilst also making enough staff available for interview by our latest auditor.
Still WTTL can't be too bad a workplace as they have lets us keep our accreditation for the next 3 years.

Artic Demand on the up

 February has continued to see demand for LGV related training increase to the point where this week we have run 3 articulated vehciles to cover our Licence Aquisition programme, a Yard Shunter course and a Driver Assessor courses.

There are a couple of thank you's due, as you may notice not all the kit is in our livery, firstly Dan at RT Keedwells Devizes depot for the trailer hire and Marcus at Rygor Commercials for the use of the additional Actros tractor unit

New Year, New Starts

 Monday was the start day for our new trio! A new year brings 3 new starts, from left to right.... Daryl Carr, who has joined the Wttl team as our new Lift Truck Instructor, although he will be mainly running our Warehouse to Work Programme in Swindon he will also be instructing on the lift trucks in between courses, next up, Joe Boocock who has won the prize of longest distance travelled to join the team, Joe has moved down from the sunny north to come and work on our ever growing Apprenticeship scheme as our new Apprentice mentor, whilst bringing a wealth of knowledge being a Transport manager CPC holder, he also brings his teaching degree which will help to improve our Apprenticeship programme even more, something we are always striving to improve as much as we can! Finally, last but not least... Jamie King who has joined us and will be taking over the wheel of the DAF as our newest addition to the driving instruction team! Good luck guys!
